If you are looking to experience more than just skiing this winter, you should perhaps try one of a large variety of alternative winter sports on offer throughout the region. Winter hiking, ice-skating, curling or nocturnal toboggan parties will introduce you to a whole new world of alpine fun.

• 60 km of hiking trails
• Curling at the "Einkehr" Restaurant in the village of Bach
• Ice-skating rink right next at the tennis hall
• Horse drawn sleigh rides through romantic winter landscape
• 2 Toboggan runs:

4 km Kaiserburg toboggan run (floodlit during high season every Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Night tobogganing on the Kaiserburg I slope).
4 km Falkerthaus toboggan run. The nearby Lärchenhütte tavern invites you to stop for a hot beverage and a traditional Carinthian meal.
