Autumn Enjoyments at hotel "Die Post"


The varied supporting programme for Autumn Enjoyments Wine&Dine&Golf and Wine&Dine&Mushrooms features interesting wine tasting sessions, traditional wine exhibitions, golfing days and excursions in the world of mushrooms.

WINE&DINE&GOLF from 6th – 9th September 2012

Thursday: Arrival – Welcome to hotel “Die Post”

Friday:
11 am: Golf – trial round with Markus Ronacher. All golfers meet to test the course and get in the mood for the big tournament. Or wellness pure – immerse yourself in the wellbeing oasis at hotel “Die Post”.

6.30 pm: Wine tasting – taster training - “Young or old” – when are wines at their best? Enjoy tasting wines in our beautiful vaulted cellar with Markus Ronacher and sommelier Michael. We always try 2 wines of different vintages together.

Saturday: From 9 am: Golf tournament – Start of the Ronacher golf anniversary trophy. Our open golf tournament
(Stableford style) on the 18-hole course at golf club Kaiserburg – Bad Kleinkirchheim celebrates the 20th
anniversary!

6 pm: Traditional wine fair at hotel “Die Post”: “Italy or Spain?” This year we are comparing wines from Italy and Spain. The wine house Morandell has brought along interesting top wines to present the diversity of these wine-growing countries.

Sunday: “Traditionally Carinthian Sunday” with Reindling (Carinthian cake, filled with butter) and Carinthian folk music – a really relaxed breakfast served until 12 midday.

Thursday: Arrival – Welcome to hotel “Die Post”

Friday: Wellness pure – immerse yourself in the wellbeing oasis at hotel “Die Post”.
6.30 pm: Wine tasting – taster training - “Young or old” – when are wines at their best? Enjoy tasting wines in our beautiful vaulted cellar with Markus Ronacher and sommelier Michael. We always try 2 wines of different vintages together.

Saturday: 12 midday: Excursion and introduction to the “world of mushrooms”. Which ones are edible? Where are the best places to be found? How can they be prepared for storage? And what are the best recipes? With practical
instructions from our “mushroom whisperer” and subsequent tasting.

7 pm: We have invited top vintners from Austria and Italy. Enjoy a delicious tasting menu with appropriate wine accompaniment. The vintners are present in person and guide you through the evening. This is an opportunity to enjoy commentary from the experts first-hand!
